
NYC Construction Codes Inspections- The SCA's Construction Inspection (CID) and Building Code Compliance (BCC) Divisions inspectors periodically visit construction projects to assure that the work is installed in accordance with the NYC Construction Codes.

QAQC Inspections- (Quality Assurance / Quality Control)- The SCA's Construction Inspection Division (CID) inspectors visit the construction projects to ensure work is conducted in accordance with contract specification.The deficiencies are noted and must be corrected within 24 to 48 hours. Safety Inspections- The SCA's Safety Division inspectors visit every construction project to review any safety issues with contractor as well as the Project Officer.The PO's task is to assure resolution of all deficiencies noted on the report. For each inspection, a report is filed and forwarded to the Project Officer as well as others involved with the project. The type and frequency of the inspections depend on the type and size of the project. The SCA routinely inspects the construction projects. The contractor is responsible to provide the SCA with the contract deliverables listed below (when applicable) to close out a project. All these documents are transferred to DOE for their use.
